Clarice Cliff ORANGE TREES & HOUSE conical tea cup & saucer.
Art Deco original, circa 1931.
This is a lovely example of this iconic Clarice Cliff pattern, expertly applied right around the body of the cup with a strong orange band to the saucer and a yellow band around the inside of the cup. The conical shape is very Art Deco in style, but must have been a nightmare to actually drink tea from!
In good condition with no chips, cracks or restoration.
The cup and saucer both carry the Fantasque, Bizarre by Clarice Cliff back-stamp to their bases.
The cup is approximately 6cm high and the saucer is 14cm diameter.
