Clarice Cliff ORANGES pattern small Bon Jour shape sugar bowl (from a tea-for-two set).
Art Deco original, circa 1931.
This is a nice sugar bowl, hand-painted with the fairly rare Oranges pattern. Would originally have been issued with a Stamford or Bon Jour tea for two set, or similar.
In good condition. No chips, cracks or stains. It does have a small area of professional restoration on the inner top rim of the bowl, which has been expertly applied and is virtually invisible.
The sugar bowl carries the FANTASQUE, Bizarre by Clarice Cliff back-stamp to it’s base.
The sugar bowl is 6cm high from the base to the top rim.
