Clarice Cliff ORANGES 6 Inch small tea plate from a tea set.
Art Deco original. Circa 1931.
This is a fairly scarce and always desirable pattern.
Good overall condition with no serious chips, cracks or stains. Some paint refreshing to the orange and a very tiny ‘nibble’ to the back edge of the plate, neither of which detract from it’s appeal, but only fair to mention.
Stamped FANTASQUE, Bizarre by Clarice Cliff to the back of the plate plus an impressed date mark for 1931.
The plate is 14.5cm (6 Inches) diameter.
