Clarice Cliff. Original Bizarre (OB). An early Tankard shape coffee can and saucer, circa 1928.
Hand painted to the saucer with triangles in purple and blue with green outlines and a matching pattern to the cup. Bizarre by Clarice Cliff mark to both the base of the cup & saucer. Impressed date mark for 1928 (indistinct).
Nice early pieces in good condition with no damage or restoration. A couple of miniscule paint frits.
Cup is 5cm high and the saucer is 9.5cm across.
