Clarice Cliff Original Bizarre (OB) ashtray.
Art Deco original, circa 1928.
Thickly hand-painted and bright in a very eye-catching purple colour with a geometric design in the central well.
No chips or cracks. Some professional paint refreshing to the front of the ashtray. Mild crazing.
Stamped Bizarre by Clarice Cliff to the base in gold. Also has an impressed date mark, which I think is for 1928 (indistinct).
Width of ashtray is 12cm.
