Clarice Cliff ORIGINAL BIZARRE (OB) athens shape tea cup & saucer.
Art Deco original, circa 1928.
This is a lovely cup and saucer which is very brightly hand-painted and stylish.
It is in good condition and has no chips, cracks or serious paint loss. It does have a professionally restored hairline inside the cup which does not detract in any way and is virtually invisible.
Both the cup and the saucer carry the Bizarre by Clarice Cliff back-stamp and the saucer has in impressed date mark for 1928.
The cup is 5.5cm high and the saucer is 14cm across.
