Clarice Cliff ORIGINAL BIZARRE (OB) drum jampot with associated lid.
Circa 1928. Art Deco original.
This is an interesting piece, which is quite early and from one of Clarice’s inaugural ranges. Unfortunately it is very crazed both inside and out, and has a number of areas of paint loss to the exterior of the body. It’s original lid is gone and it has an associated silver lid (which has a hallmark).
Despite the issues described above, the jampot still makes a nice display piece and could be used as a Clarice Cliff pen pot on your office desk.
The base of the jampot is stamped Bizarre by Clarice Cliff in gold. Jampot height is 7.5cm.
