Clarice Cliff ORIGINAL BIZARRE pattern (possible Whisper pattern variant) Athens shape teapot.
Art Deco original, circa 1929.
Hand painted right around the teapot with this rare abstract pattern, which is an unrecorded Original Bizarre variant.
In overall good condition with no serious damages, but the base of the teapot has been professionally restored to a high standard. Some crazing. Minor blemish to edge of teapot spout.
The teapot is approximately 14cm high from the base to the top of the lid. The length of the teapot from the tip of the spout to the tip of the handle is 23cm.
Stamped Bizarre by Clarice Cliff to the base in the large script mark.
