Clarice Cliff PANSIES pattern tankard shape coffee cup and saucer.
Art Deco original, circa 1934.
Very nicely hand-painted with a good version of the pattern right round the cup and also on the saucer; Delecia style paint runnings below the flowers.
No chips, cracks or restoration. In clean condition.
Stamped Bizarre by Clarice Cliff to the base of the cup and the saucer and also has a handwritten Pansies pattern name, plus a date stamp (indistinct) to the base of the saucer.
The cup is 5cm high.
