Clarice Cliff PASTEL MELON conical tea cup & saucer.
Art Deco original, circa 1932.
This is a lovely example of this iconic Clarice Cliff pattern, expertly applied right around the body of the cup with strong blue, lilac and green bands to the saucer and a green band around the inside of the cup.
In good condition with no chips, cracks or stains. There has been some professional paint refreshing to some of the blue areas, which has been expertly applied and is virtually invisible, but only fair to mention.
The cup and saucer both carry the Bizarre by Clarice Cliff back-stamp to their bases.
The cup is approximately 6cm high and the saucer is 14cm diameter.
