Product Information
Clarice Cliff PATINA TREE Stamford shape teapot.
Art Deco original, circa 1932.
This is a very attractive teapot and has two good things going for it. A nice, well-painted example of this relatively rare pattern on what is arguably one of Clarice’s best teapot shapes!
The teapot is in overall good condition with no chips, paint loss or restoration. It does have a star crack on the back, which is not too noticeable, as it blends in with the pattern (and I didn’t notice it until it was pointed out to me), but it is reflected in the price (see pictures). It has the Patina flecks across the body and has a Delecia streaked lid.
The teapot carries the PATINA, Bizarre by Clarice Cliff back-stamp to it’s base.
The teapot is 12cm from the base to the top of the lid.
