Clarice Cliff PINK PEARLS pattern, pair of grapefruit dishes/cereal bowls.
Art Deco originals, circa 1936.
A lovely set of dishes, hand-painted with the Pink Pearls pattern (which is a Rhodanthe variant).
There are no chips, cracks or restoration. If I’m being very picky I will mention a small under-glaze firing fault to one of the foot rims of the bowls. It’s exactly how it left the factory and in no way detracts from the appeal of the item, but only fair to mention.
The bases of both bowls are stamped with the Clarice Cliff script back stamp and an AJ Wilkinson mark.
Bowls are 3.5cm high by 14cm diameter.
