Clarice Cliff RED SUNRISE pattern 7 inch tea plate.
Art Deco original, circa 1930.
In good condition with no chips, cracks or restoration.
Nicely decorated with good strong banding around the edge of the plate. This abstract pattern is always a favourite with CC collectors and has the added advantage of being in the red colourway, which makes it even more appealing. Very Art Deco!
Plate is stamped Fantasque by Clarice Cliff in script to the back, and has an impressed date mark for 1930 plus a Lawleys retailer mark in gold.
The plate is approximately 17.5cm (7 inches) diameter.
