Clarice Cliff RED SUNRISE pattern conical shape trio (cup, saucer & plate).
Art Deco original, circa 1929.
In good condition with no chips, cracks or stains. There is a small area of professional restoration to the edge of the conical cup’s handle, which has been expertly applied and is virtually invisible, but only fair to mention.
Nicely decorated with good strong banding around the plate and saucer edges, this abstract pattern is always a favourite with CC collectors and has the added advantage of being in the red colourway, which makes it even more appealing. Very Art Deco!
All three pieces are stamped Fantasque by Clarice Cliff in script, and the plate has an impressed date mark for 1929.
The cup is approximately 6cm high and the plate is 15cm (6 inches) diameter.
