Clarice Cliff RED TREES AND HOUSE globe shape cup and saucer.
Art Deco original. Circa 1930.
Good overall condition with no chips or cracks. A small hairline to the saucer has been professionally restored, and is virtually invisible but only fair to mention.
This is a nice example of a fairly rare and sought-after variant of the Trees and House pattern. Strong decoration and the ever-so-striking coral red with the black banding makes this one not to be missed!
Back stamped Fantasque by Clarice Cliff to the bases of both pieces. Also has an impressed date mark for 1930 on the base of the saucer.
The saucer is 14.5cm diameter. The cup is 5cm high.
