Clarice Cliff RHODANTHE 9 Inch (22.5cm) hanging wall plate,
Art Deco original, circa 1936.
This is a superbly decorated piece and a rare thing. Factory-drilled hanging wall plates are quite scarce and not often seen. This one has been meticulously hand-painted with Clarice’s ever-popular Rhodanthe pattern and is ready to hang on your wall by threading a cord or wire through the existing holes on the back.
In superb condition with no damage or restoration. Very clean and eye-catching.
The rear of the wall plaque carries the Clarice Cliff signature back-stamp in a script style and there is also an impressed date mark for 1936.
