Clarice Cliff RHODANTHE pattern large daffodil shape jug. Scarce shape, 18cm.
Art Deco original. Circa 1936.
This is a lovely jug which has the full pattern right around the piece.
The daffodil shape is not often seen, and a jug in this pattern is fairly rare, so a must-have for any Rhodanthe collector.
Strongly hand-painted with no chips, cracks or paint loss. There is a small area of professional restoration to the inside yellow section, just behind the handle. That has been very well done and is virtually invisible, but only fair to mention.
Fully stamped to the base with the script Clarice Cliff backstamp.
