Clarice Cliff SECRETS pattern Bon Jour shape teapot.
Art Deco original, circa 1933.
This is a very attractive teapot and has two very good things going for it. A very nice, well-painted example of Clarice’s favourite pattern on what is arguably one of her best teapot shapes!
The teapot is in good condition with no chips or cracks. It does have a small area of professional restoration to one corner of the lid, which has been done very well and is virtually invisible. It doesn’t in any way detract from this lovely piece, but only fair to mention.
The teapot carries the FANTASQUE, Bizarre by Clarice Cliff back-stamp to it’s base.
The teapot is 13cm from the base to the top of the lid.
