Clarice Cliff SECRETS pattern large size Athens jug.
Art Deco original. Circa 1933.
This is a lovely jug. Hand painted with one of Clarice’s favourite patterns. The decoration covers the whole front of the jug and wraps around the side to the back of the piece.
No cracks or chips, but the jug does have some professional restoration to the foot-rim and a little to the pouring lip of the jug at the top, which has been very well done and is virtually invisible. This restoration is reflected in the price.
Carries the FANTASQUE Bizarre by Clarice Cliff mark to the base.
The jug is 20cm high.
