Clarice Cliff Solomon’s Seal stamford tea set trio. Teapot, Milk & Sugar.
Circa 1930. Early straight teapot spout.
Printed and hand-painted pattern. Very striking, Art deco feel with it’s bold purple and blue bands on the teapot spout, the handle and the lid.
All pieces are in good condition with no chips or cracks. The teapot lid has been professionally restored and the paint refreshed. The milk jug has had a professional restoration to a small edge chip. All repairs have been carried out to a very high standard and are virtually invisible.
This is quite a rare find; you don’t see many of these teapots in this pattern and if you are a Stamford teapot collector, this is one not to be missed. The addition of the milk and sugar make it even more desirable.
