Clarice Cliff SUMMERHOUSE pattern conical cup & saucer.
Art Deco original, Circa 1932.
Hand painted with one of Clarice’s ‘signature’ patterns, which is very stylish and eye-catching. In good condition with no serious damage or restoration. A couple of minor paint frits and some age-related crazing to the underside of the saucer, but neither detract from this fabulous piece, which displays very well indeed.
Bizarre by Clarice Cliff back stamp on both the cup & the saucer. Impressed date mark for 1932 to the base of the saucer.
The cup is 6cm high and the saucer is approximately 15cm across.
