Clarice Cliff SUNRISE (orange) large conical jug.
Art Deco original, circa 1929.
Nicely decorated with the whole design wrapping right around this statement piece. This is the orange version of the pattern, which is always popular and sought-after by collectors.
In good condition with no chips, cracks or stains. There has been some professional paint refreshing to a couple of scratches near the top of the jug, which is virtually invisible but only fair to mention.
The jug is 18cm high.
Stamped Fantasque by Clarice Cliff in script to the base. There is also a gold Lawleys retailer stamp.
