This is an original Clarice Cliff TENNIS pattern small stamford shape milk jug from a tea-for-two tea set.
Art Deco original, circa 1930.
Very well hand painted and bright with this stunning, rare abstract pattern which is only known from a small number of examples and is always highly sought by collectors.
In overall good condition with no serious damage, chips or restoration. There is a very minor, small, tight hairline down the inside which can just about be seen in the photos. It is hardly noticeable, but only fair to mention.
Stamped Bizarre by Clarice Cliff to the base of the jug.
The height of the jug is 6.5cm.
