Clarice Cliff TREES & HOUSE (orange) octagonal sandwich plate, small size.
Art Deco original. Circa 1930.
This attractive early landscape pattern is arguabley one of Clarice’s best and a definite ‘must-have’ in your CC collection. Strongly decorated with bold banding around the central pattern.
In overall good condition with no chips, cracks or stains; some minor paint scuffs/frits (see pictures).
Stamped with the large script Fantasque by Clarice Cliff mark to the base. Also has an impressed date stamp (indistinct) for 1930. Width of plate is 14.5cm.
I currently have three of these plates in stock. Each one is of a similar condition and decorating style, but may differ slightly from the one shown in the photographs.
