Clarice Cliff UMBRELLAS & RAIN ISIS shape vase.
Art Deco original, circa 1929.
This is a superbly decorated vase in one of Clarice’s most popular and stylish patterns. The decoration wraps right around the vase and is framed by strong banding both top and bottom. A real Art Deco statement piece.
No chips, cracks or damage. There is a very small area of professional restoration on the top blue band, which has been expertly done and in no way detracts from the appeal of this piece, but only fair to mention.
Stamped FANTASQUE by Clarice Cliff with the early, large, script back stamp to the base.
Height of vase is 24cm.
