Clarice Cliff VISCARIA pattern conical sugar sifter.
Art Deco original, circa 1934.
A very nice sifter which has been skillfully painted and presented well by the decorator.
In good condition with no chips, cracks or obvious restoration. There ‘may’ have been a small area of overpainting near the top holes, but I am not 100% sure about that, but only fair to mention.
The tip is fully intact and hasn’t been damaged. There are a couple of very minor paint ‘frits’.
Stamped Bizarre by Clarice Cliff to the base. The original stopper is missing.
Height of the sifter is 14cm.
