Clarice Cliff VISCARIA pattern conical sugar sifter.
Art Deco original, circa 1934.
A nice sifter which has been skillfully decorated and presented well by the decorator.
In good overall condition with no chips, cracks or restoration. It does have a couple of bits of paint loss on the grey paint, especially around the holes (see pictures). Not particularly noticeable, but only fair to mention and a common occurrence on this pattern.
The sifter carries the full Bizarre by Clarice Cliff back-stamp and also retains it’s original cork stopper.
Height of the sifter is 14cm.
