Clarice Cliff VISCARIA pattern large octagonal platter, 25cm x 18.5cm.
Art Deco original, circa 1934.
In good condition with no chips, cracks or restoration. There is a very minor factory grind to one edge (underside).
This platter is a real statement piece and would make a superb central feature for any Clarice Cliff collection, especially if you collect the Viscaria pattern. Somewhat of a rarity and not to be missed!
Stamped Bizarre by Clarice Cliff to the base plus an impressed date stamp for November 1929 (which is interesting, as the pattern actually dates to about 1934).
