Clarice Cliff VISCARIA pattern small Trieste shape milk jug (from a tea-for-two set).
Art Deco original, circa 1936.
This is a nice milk jug, hand-painted with the ever-popular VISCARIA pattern. Would originally have been issued with a Trieste shape tea for two set, or similar.
No damage, chips, stains or restoration, in good condition. A couple of very minor paint frits.
The milk jug carries a Made in England back-stamp to it’s base. There isn’t a Clarice Cliff back stamp, but I can 100% guarantee this is a genuine piece of CC. It came from a larger set which contained pieces with a back stamp.
The milk jug is 6.5cm high from the base to the top rim.
