Clarice Cliff VISCARIA wide-rim shape 662 bowl, rare shape.
Art Deco original, circa 1935.
This is a lovely bowl which is brightly hand-painted and eye-catching. This particular shape is not often seen and in my 30+ years of collecting, I have only ever seen one other in this shape.
The bowl is free from any damage, chips or cracks. It does have a very small area of professional paint refreshing to one of the flowers, just near the rim, which is virtually invisible but only fair to mention. This rare shape would make a superb addition to any Clarice Cliff collection.
The base is stamped Bizarre by Clarice Cliff and carries a raised shape number of 662.
The bowl is 8cm high and 25cm diameter.
