Clarice Cliff WHISPER pattern candlestick holder. Shape 331.
Art Deco original, circa 1929.
Very nicely hand painted and bright with this early geometric pattern which is a fairly rare and not-often-seen one.
In overall good condition with no chips, stains or restoration. It does have a tight hairline running down the outside and inside of the sconce, as is often the case with this shape of candlestick. This doesn’t detract from it’s appeal, but only fair to mention (see pictures).
Approximately 5.5cm high and 8.5cm across the base.
