Clarice Cliff WOODLAND pattern octagonal sandwich plate, small size.
Art Deco original. Circa 1930.
This attractive early landscape design is arguabley one of Clarice’s most under-rated patterns.
Strongly decorated with a bold central tree and lollipop flowers in the background.
In overall good condition with no chips, cracks or stains; some minor paint scuffs/frits (see pictures).
Stamped with WOODLAND by Clarice Cliff mark to the base. Also has an impressed date stamp (indistinct) for 1930. Width of plate is 14.5cm.
