Hornsea Pottery Spooner Invitation Day large mug/tankard.
Vintage original, circa 1971.
In overall good condition with no cracks, stains or restoration. Unfortunately it does have a small chip to the top rim (see pictures), which would be an easy restore for anyone with the necessary skills.
The mug depicts a golf scene and has a toffee-coloured glaze.
Stamped SPOONER INVITATION DAY, HORNSEA, SEPTEMBER 1971 plus the Hornsea Pottery back-stamp.
The mug/tankard is 13cm high and 9cm diameter.
