Maling green Cobblestone small storage jar marked CURRANTS, with lid.
Art Deco original, circa 1930s.
In overall good condition with no chips, cracks or restoration. Some crazing and a couple of minor ‘nibbles’ around the edge of the lid (see pictures).
This is the smallest size of storage jar and these are not often seen. Quite hard to come by.
Stamped Cobble Stone, Maling, Newcastle on Tyne to the base in green.
Height of the jar is 10.5cm.
