Maling pottery North East Coast Industries Exhibition water jug.
Art Deco original, circa 1929.
This jug was issued by Maling to commemorate the 1929 exhibition and is a fairly rare item. Not many of these around and definitely a ‘must-have’ for any serious Maling collector.
In good condition with no chips, cracks or restoration. Minor crazing. A very small internal hairline which doesn’t detract, but only fair to mention.
Stamped Maling, Newcastle to the base.
The jug is 17cm high.
