Clarice Cliff SLICED CIRCLE octagonal sandwich plate, small size.
Art Deco original. Circa 1929.
This plate is somewhat of a rarity. The Sliced Circle pattern is considered as one of Clarice’s best and is always highly sought by collectors. It’s geometric style is so abstract and very Art Deco. These don’t come up often and always command a premium price!
In good condition with no chips, cracks, stains or restoration. A couple of very minor paint ‘frits’.
Stamped Bizarre by Clarice Cliff to the base. Also has an impressed date mark for 1929.
Width of plate is 14cm.
