This is a rare MALING Hunting Scenes tea set including water jug. Circa late 1920s.
Decorated with hunting scenes on all pieces and has a lustre-style glaze.
We believe this set to be VERY RARE set and not often seen.
The set consists of a teapot, milk, sugar, two cups and saucers, a sandwich plate and a water jug.
All pieces are free from serious damage or restoration, but there are some signs of wear and some age-related crazing on various pieces. All items in the set appear to have been used for their intended purpose.
All items are stamped MALING Newcastle On Tyne, England and carry the pattern number 5141.
