Susie Cooper YELLOW TANGO jug with very stylish, chic banding.
Art Deco original, circa 1930s.
This jug is in generally good condition and has no chips, cracks or restoration, but does have a couple of areas of scratches to the black and yellow bands (see photos) and some paint ‘frits’ to the handle. Despite these scratches, it still displays very well and could be easily restored, if required. There is some age-related crazing.
The jug is 16.5cm high and 10.5cm across the top.
The base carries the Susie Cooper Production, Crown Works back-stamp and a hand-painted pattern number (indistinct).
