Troika Stove Man slab vase decorated by Sylvia Vallence, circa 1960s/70s. 17.5cm high.
In good condition with no chips, cracks or restoration.
This is a fantastic vase and is one of the more sought-after pieces of Troika.
This particular piece has the provenance of being from the collection of Michael Hunt of the New Craftsman gallery in St. Ives and despite the word Troika (Trioka) being mispelled on the base, the vase is known to have been in Michael Hunt’s collection since the days of the Troika Pottery and is likely to have come direct from the factory.
Troika marks and decorator’s monogram to the base.
