Clarice Cliff CROCUS pattern demitasse coffee can & saucer.
Art Deco original, circa 1930.
Hand painted in colours, depicting Crocus flowers against the brown earth.
With no chips, cracks or restoration, very clean and bright. A good example with large flowers. Very small factory ‘grind’ to the rim of the cup which isn’t particularly noticeable, but only fair to mention.
The cup is 5.5cm high and the saucer is 10.5cm across.
Both pieces are stamped Bizarre by Clarice Cliff and have the hand-painted CROCUS pattern name in green. The saucer has a date stamp for 1930.
