Clarice Cliff small size BROOKFIELDS pattern Biarritz shape side plate.
Art Deco original, circa 1936.
Nicely hand-painted and bright. This is a super pattern which is very under-rated in my opinion. One of Clarice’s last true landscape patterns of the 1930s.
In good condition with no chips, cracks or restoration.
Plate carries The Biarritz, Royal Staffordshire mark to the back. This small plate comes from a larger set which only had a Clarice Cliff backstamp to the large plate within the set. All of the small plates are stamped in the same way as this one.
I have shown the larger plate in some of the photos to provide perspective and to demonstrate how the full set is backstamped. This item sale does not include the larger plate (I have that listed separately), so you will be buying just one small plate.
Plate width 15.5cm, plate height is 12cm.
