Clarice Cliff WINDBELLS pattern. A large circular plate.
Art Deco original, circa 1933.
Hand painted with one of Clarice’s most popular and eye-catching patterns. Striking colours in orange, yellow, green & blue. Full version of the psychedelic tree to the centre of the plate.
In nice condition with no chips, cracks, stains or restoration. There are a couple of minor paint flecks/scratches to the orange outer band (see pictures), which don’t detract from the appeal of this plate, but only fair to mention.
Plate has the Fantasque, Bizarre by Clarice Cliff mark to the back and an impressed date stamp for 1933.
The plate is 25cm.
