Clarice Cliff SUNGOLD pattern Bon Jour preserve pot & cover, circa 1934.
Well decorated with no chips, cracks or restoration. Full pattern to the sides plus a striking ‘Target’ design to the front and rear faces. A very small firing fault to the top rim which sits under the lid; doesn’t detract from its appeal, but only fair to mention.
This is quite a rare jampot and one I haven’t seen in this pattern before, so if you are a jampot collector this could ceratinly appeal to you.
Stamped Bizarre by Clarice Cliff to the base.
Height of jampot from base to the top of the lid is 10cm.
